[Applause] hello hello John yes this is Dale tashy still long time no here are you still at
the monastery in AA no no I left the monastery at Ava in 1965 all right how may I help you D what
I need is I need to somehow clear my conscience of what has happened in the past
mhm I've I've been for about 40 years now covering up and holding within me something that I've known about and
could never talk about and yet I feel I too like you have injured some people by
my behavior the things that we discussed while you were at the monastery are not quite the same it
appears to me as a newspaper article that I had read more recently of uh young girls tragic uh demise are you referring
to the Irene Gara murder in the Rio Grandy Valley yes sir okay yeah that has been
in the newspapers recently yeah and what I've read doesn't coincide with what you told me about
that and there are relatives that are living and I would really appreciate or helpful to me at least if you'd come
with me to those relatives and come with you to those relatives yeah and explained to them that you know we've
been responsible you've been responsible on your end for the accident or unfortunate thing
that happened I covered up along with you all these years and I am telling you this
evening that I am not the man who killed Irene Gara and I said don't intend to instruct
you but I can only say that you're going to have to go with your conscience on this and do what your conscience tells
you is right because that's exactly what I'm doing how well I guess I'm very confused
I now more so than I was before because you told me that you did in fact participate in the
death of a young woman there I can only repeat myself and say I am not the man who killed Irene
Gara and that is a story that is circulating in the newspapers at this time was it somebody else then that you
told me about at the time I was in the monastery I was pretty much a Broken Man psychologically emotionally
spiritually I have no recollection what I may have told you at that time and it Grieves me that it's causing
you pain at this point in your life I will pray for you that this cloud and this cross might be lifted from your
mind and heart
