5-year-old daughter Capri comes running in from the hallway saying something's wrong with Dad. She hands Mom her iPod
Touch saying that her and her brother were FaceTiming with their [music] dad, 40-year-old Nick Cordova, but then all
of a sudden they heard a bang and their dad stopped responding. What Alicia saw and heard on that call has haunted her
every day for the 6 years [music] that she's been fighting to get her husband justice. And despite a mounting pile of
circumstantial evidence that she's collected pointing to who might be responsible for his murder, no arrest or
charges have ever been made in this case. >> [music] >> Now it feels like the only way that this

Junkies. This is the story of Nick Cordova.

On May 27, 2020, in Gilbert, Arizona, 40-year-old business owner Nicholas “Nick” Cordova was on a FaceTime call with his young children when they suddenly heard a loud bang and he stopped responding.

Nick had been inside his HVAC business, Gilbert Air, when he was attacked and later shot. Surveillance footage confirmed that two masked individuals entered the building. His business partner, David Sweetman, was the only other person inside at the time.

While the case was initially believed to be a robbery, key questions remain unanswered, and no arrests have been made.
