the door hit you they say they're on the way in sometimes people say they're on the way in right I yeah if you want the
person to leave don't let the door hits you on the way in oh man what a what a week anytime you
go down a rabbit hole of aliens it's a week it is a week doing the the mash up this week mhm the
generation one my mashup so that should be interesting I was really hoping cuz when you when you think about
the the start of True Crime love right A lot of people especially around our age their their initial start of this
was Unsolved Mysteries right but one of the best things I liked about that show was
Bigfoot Lochness Monster was one of my favorites I I love looking at like all the images that people said were some
kind of monster mhm and then like I always thought it was so fascinating how they were they would
talk about how dark it was and and and there was all this other stuff because of um because of these chemicals in the
water it was it's a lot murkier than other water so it was always like this like Perfect Storm of why there could be
a a monster in the lake and I love those parts and then some of the alien stuff I I thought
those were fascinating so so talking with Justin this week I was really hoping that we could dive into something like
Area 51 or or some kind of um you know there's some cool connections to JFK and UFOs and I thought that we'd get to that
and we we didn't we didn't get to the any craziness but I did watch this well I started by listening to Joe
Rogan and and not just like on his podcast but just kind of flopping around on YouTube MH I want to I'm trying to
find what the actual well while you look for that um that's that's so cool cool that
you say that because that's really how I got into True Crime was not necessarily
wanting to get into True Crime when I was very little I had a big fascination with dinosaurs and then when somebody
tells you Loch Ness tells you the story of Loch NES you go holy [ __ ] yeah there's still some dinosaurs around at
least that's where my brain went to and I was like I wanted to learn everything I could about loch nest and then that's
why I tuned in into Unsolved Mysteries for the very first time when I watched it was because of that
lockness and then the Bigfoot stuff was so interesting as well as some of the alien stuff and then they would Mash in
True Crime they would have you know Unsolved Mysteries of murder mysteries or missing people or one one case they
always kind of covered it was like a theme that I find fascinating and nobody really I don't hear any stories of this
you know 30 years later now yeah and remember the Amnesia stories like there would be this person that just appeared
in some town somewhere and they don't know who they are or how they got there well well right but it's probably
because of our technology advancements well yeah and but I always found those ones fascinating and so I
spilled over into True Crime because I'm sitting there watching this this show and I'm going after a while you get a
little bit older and you start to look into like Loch Ness and Bigfoot and stuff like that and I don't want to I
don't want to piss in anybody's Cheerios here but at some point you go all right
well this is just this is just an unsolvable mystery you know and until they actually find a sea monster
somewhere or until right Bigfoot actually does beat somebody up over beef jerky we may never know and it may just
be myths and legends and really good stor and fascinating to think about but you know I got a little bit older and I
started thinking well as somebody who does not like Mysteries to remain unsolved right I had to move on and I'm
like whoa it was right there it was right there in front of me the whole time thanks to Robert Stack well you
know he it's not like he showed up and wrote the script or anything but uh we will give him 100% credit for that
fantastic show he talk cool yeah no but that what I love about about these I I would classify like 50 Area
51 conspiracy theory uh JFK assassination definitely conspiracy theory but I'd even say stuff
like Bigfoot and and possibly um some UFO stuff and and even Lochness I would kind of classify all under some kind of
conspiracy and to me conspiracy theories are they're very interesting but I think
there's like I think 90 some per of it is nonsense not saying that it's not true but I think it's just like it
doesn't matter and I think what I love to find is like one point of evidence that I can't explain
MH and so when then I'm talking to somebody uh and they're going well Bigfoot's not real I'll say well I don't
know if it's real or not but what but we but what we do know is there was an animal similar to this that lived years
and years ago so is it possible that some kind of relative or some kind of evolution of this
animal you know became something else a lot of people also think that they're like Time Travelers or or teleporters or
uh I love the shirts like um hideand-seek champion uh you know with Bigfoot but um but what's interesting is you you
have this I know there was a documentary that came out in the last few years and
this guy uncovered some footage that he gave to Canadian um Canada's government and
they basically said look we we don't know what this footage is and we can't say it's a hoax and we can't say it's
real cuz we don't really know what we're seeing and they they were able to pass a
law saying if this creature is real it is illegal to kill this creature and that's pretty interesting
cuz that's a a bigger form uh of government saying hey we don't know what this is
and this possibly could be real and so it's like whether you believe it or not that's an interesting
tidbit um so on YouTube it just likes to suggest things to you you know based on
what you've watched and I think the first clip I watched was the moment Bob Lazar knew he was dealing with something
alien and it's just a picture of Joe Joe's face and Bob lazar's face and I've never heard of Bob Lazar and I I started
diving into all these clips and then you then probably into some of these clips you start realizing
oh there's a documentary so there's this new documentary well it's not that new it's about a year old or
so uh it's called Bob Lazar Area 51 and flying saucers it's worth watching I think they try to make certain things a
little too artsy there's some scenes where it's like really bad sci-fi music andh and really bad pictures of like
planets and stuff and then a guy going they don't want us to know you know and talking and these like weird
riddles and stuff and and that stuff I thought was kind of hokey but the interviews of Bob Lazar at his kitchen
table are definitely fascinating and if you don't have time to watch the documentary I would definitely say check
if you're into like the unsolved mystery stuff and any type of alien UFO stuff i' definitely
recommend listening to this interview with Joe Rogan because basically this guy came out I believe in
1989 um he worked for a a unit of our government he made all these claims of what he saw what he was dealing
with and in the last 30 years or so a lot of his claims are now becoming true stuff that they thought were [ __ ]
before they're realizing this guy wasn't bullshitting and he has a very interesting take on stuff
because he he's not a he's not a UFO Watcher he's not he doesn't care he thinks he keeps kind of rehashing two
things one if this is proof of Life on another planet that this needs to be our government needs to come out and say we
have proof proof of that it's too big of a a fine for Humanity to not put it out
there and then deal with it um so that's his first thing and then the other thing
is that he thinks not everything but some of the technology that they know that they have and kind of understand
what they're dealing with that they should present that not in its entirety but to kind of
almost debrief the whole country oh by the way there's this thing that is creating gravity we don't know how to
create gravity you know there's there's the only way that we can do this is by uh creating bigger and bigger
masses so science doesn't have a way to just turn a switch on and and create gravity
so basically he's saying that some of these technologies that that he was working on and these other teams were
working on that the government should come out and say hey we're working we have we've seen this technology we
understand how it works but we don't know how to recreate it we don't know if we can create something that does that
uh you know he makes all these other claims that you know there was these um he claims that he saw like nine flying
songers that they were all different shapes and but his story is just really interesting how he you know he went to
Cal University then he went to MIT then he started working for this company and and then he starts you know pushing the
issue that he would like to work on some top secret stuff he gets in there he becomes a part of a team but everybody's
working on something different so they nobody really knows exactly what the other team is working on but they have
some debriefing of it and then you know they're monitoring him and he knows that they're monitoring
their calls they're monitoring their their mail their friends anything that they can monitor and some stuff is going
wrong with his personal life but he doesn't actually know that so they kind of chill him out like on bringing him on
because they're trying to figure out basically his his wife is having an affair and and they know that but he
doesn't so the whole idea was that they're like we're just not going to bring them into
work and we're going to wait for him to discover this and see how he reacts well he just doesn't really uh
Discover it so therefore he's going weeks and weeks without going to work and eventually he he starts getting
scared he actually thinks that maybe he did something wrong you know what if they try to eliminate him or whatever
that you know he could end up you know quote unquote dying in a car accident and people wouldn't know that he was
working on this top secret [ __ ] so he his idea was let me tell my friends so if something bad happens to me they kind
of know so he goes and tells a bunch of his friends of course they don't believe him
but what does he have he has a test schedule uh of when they test these these flying saucers so they end up
going out to this Lake watching a bunch of the test sites with some of his friends that he told what was going on
they try to videotape it you know that's of course back in the day there's you know really shitty VHS home re uh
recorders and then they are busted by busted going out there watching these test flights and then they bring them in
and then they explain to them well we weren't having you come in to work because your wife's having an affair and
we we need to make sure that you're going to be stable so I mean it's just uh it was it it was worth the watch uh
definitely the the if you're into the that part of Unsolved Mysteries well and his
claims are what they site you know that the internet a lot of websites will site
that his claims are what brought this area 51 to the to the knowledge of the of the
general public yeah which is factually just not true because of the the wreck AG of the the first crash of Area 51 was
that was kind of the main thing but it kind of died down so he was I thought that was
Roswell well yeah you have the crash at Roswell but I I think I don't I don't think Bob was the
first of the area 51 I it doesn't matter I'd have to look it up but that that's just what what I'm reading here
mhm lazar's claims resulted in bringing the secret area 51 site to the attention
of the public because they're saying he's stating that they were so he was he was tasked with doing
reverse engineering basically where meaning you you see a technology in use and then you have to try to figure out
how to replicate that mhm and his claims are that he was tasked with re reverse engineering alien technology basically
technology that we didn't have right and then we got it from extraterrestrials and therefore where
these where he's filming or viewing these flying saucers or UFOs or whatever you want to call them that this was
taking place at an area that he called S4 near the area 51 Groom Lake operating location right and there's also a Area
52 they talk about several times which that's one of the first times I've ever heard Area 52 I was like oh Area
52 um yeah and he talked about how they you know how they had to get access to their Badges and in the 80s when he made
these claims these machines that he was talking about that kind of measure your hands and measure your bone density and
all this stuff in your hands everybody just thought he was just making this up and that he was just you know crazy uh
but they've since been able to find some of these machines that he actually was talking about and they were uh the Lo
one of the locations that they found these were was Area 52 and they actually found a guy that worked for the
government uh repairing these things and he talked about how well we eventually replaced them because they were they
kind of broke all the time mhm but what's also interesting is how you know Bob makes all these claims
and then therefore they start his past starts disappearing his his birth certificate at some point disappears at
some point I I I think it's almost impossible to find out that Bob Lazar went to cow University it's almost
impossible to find that Bob went to MIT even though there's several people that Bob grew up with that can tell you
well I drove him to school or I was in class with him and so their claim is if he's lying about this well he went and
just you know why would he go to school for no credits and then lied that he had
had a degree later uh cuz they found severals you know not just at Cal University but also at MIT several
people that he went to school with now he won't bring these people up publicly anymore because when he does bad things
start happening to them and they also try to discredit what where he worked after um
MIT and it's so funny because that you know these investigators that that talk to Bob they're they're trying to
disprove his story and they're like yeah you talk to all these people that that worked there and they're like we have no
record of him but they found him in an employee directory you know from the years that
he he claimed that he worked there so it's like you you can lie all you want you can get rid of some records but if
you don't get rid of all the records and think about all the people that had directories that worked there and you
finally contact somebody that goes oh yeah I have an old directory and then you open it up and boom there's Bob
right there MH uh so that was one of the things but the other thing too was in his spare time he liked to work on on
Rockets so he would attach Rockets to cars and attach Rockets to to motorcycles and and this was a big hobby
of him one of the reasons why people think that the government wanted him to be a part of the reverse
engineering so it's uh what's fascinating though is this company saying he didn't work there but
you find him in a directory and then you also find him on the cover of one of their newsletters saying hey this great
engineer that works for us he has this really cool hobby uh and he also has these you know records that he's
broke because of his hobby at home so it's just but I I find that stuff just so fascinating that um here's this guy
that seems to be above level intelligence he he seems to be telling the truth there's evidence of what he's
saying and and there's evidence of people trying to disprove him and almost get rid of him um it's but it's
fascinating and then it really started making me wonder you know if they I I remember this years back but
they had a um do you ever see the Sasquatch in a box um well I don't even know what it is
it was somebody took like a basically a Sasquatch like costume and they put it in a box and it
was It was supposed to be that they found this dead Sasquatch on the side of the road or maybe this Sasquatch
attacked something and they shot it and for like I I remember it being on a couple news stations of we don't know if
this is real but this story has blowing up that a guy killed a Sasquatch and has
him in the Box mhm and it took a while but they you know obviously disproved it but it's like that day I remember going
oh [ __ ] maybe it's real and with this like Bob Lazar guy talking I go yeah could he be full of [ __ ] yeah
and he also talks about government's putting out uh disinformation right mhm and and so so then it makes
you start wondering is he a part of that is he a part of putting out some nonsense uh to the
public um or is he who not who he says he is right right or is it all a lie [Music]
and you know think about this way he some of the big things as far as like the how to get into the security
clearance to get past it and use these weird things that measure your hands and measure bones or whatever what if he was
a operator of one of those what if he was a Salesman of one of those you I mean like so he knew about this
technology that not many people used you know or or maybe he was a janitor at one
of these sites you know what I mean right he hasn't really changed much of his story I mean there was a story he
was telling that when he was walking through one of the hangers one day that he looked through and saw two guys
in lab coat and it looked like they were bending down looking at what this I kind of find this
uh funny cute but also at the same time scary as they called aliens quote unquote the
kids because he claims that the seats were so small and these rocket ships these flying saucers that that would
only kind of fit like a child right and so he but he claims back in the 80s he claimed or or early 90s when he he was
making a lot of these claims he was saying he saw two researchers looking down at and it looked like a seat of one
of the flying saucers with with one of the kids in there uh but he has s said that he thinks he did see what he saw
for a split second but it was more likely probably a dummy that they were putting to try to figure out what size
of person would fit in one of these chairs right but it's you know it's such a but it's that like I said it's that
it's not even if his story is true or not to me it's like it's the next step of when would a
government have to come out and say hey we know some [ __ ] and we've been hiding
it for a while but we know some [ __ ] and how you know cuz one of the friends I
was talking to about this was saying it'd be pure chaos and I I don't think it would be I
think it'd be I think there'd be some uh shock and I think people would be scared
and I think there'd be some Panic at first but then I think it kind of go back uh to the way things were you know
so but it's a you know F fascinating I and I I can't tell you if I believe in it one way or the other but I'm of the
mindset and have been of the mindset for a long time that you our universe is so
vast that it doesn't really make much sense that we'd be the only intelligent creatures out there
