Ted Bundy and the Green River Killer /// Episode 66
With Ted Bundy safely locked away on Florida’s death row, everyone could finally relax… right?
Wrong.
In 1982, the bodies of several young women were discovered in Washington state’s Green River. Authorities launched a massive investigation and manhunt, one that would grow to a scale nearly comparable to the “Ted Murders.” But with few solid leads, police had little reason for optimism.
Then, on October 1, 1984, the Green River Task Force received a letter from Theodore Robert Bundy, offering his assistance with the investigation.
Can one killer help catch another? And why would he want to?
We’ll ask those questions, and many more, tonight in the garage.
