Cooney case: A story you need to see to believe | Forensic Files

I'm not sure if too many people have these things anymore water coolers but if you have one this is the kind of
story you might spend some time around your water cooler talking about on Monday we certainly are here um because
there are so many questions that there are legal answers to in this story but but that still leave us sort of
scratching our head biggest one for me is what was Linda Cooney doing with that gun 20 some odd years after she used it
to kill her husband you know she was acquitted of that in Florida and after her acquittal went to the police and
asked for her gun back so I asked the prosecutors in Las Vegas is that surprising to you it it shocked me to no
end it was one of the first of many shocking stories that They Came Upon while they were preparing this case of
course the big one is what would ever ever cause a mother to want to shoot her own son she doesn't have any barriers
but the rest of have she's probably the most controlling and manipulative person
that you could come across the prosecutor's theory is that she was such a control freak she wanted to control
who her sons talked to who they dated they need to grow up make their own decisions have bedroom doors be able
they don't have bedroom doors so my question was why did they put up with it I mean they weren't kids they were in
their 30s take a look at this story this week see what you think we're calling it
