Someone signed her name after her husband was murdered. After Nick Cordova died, his wife Alicia was dealing with
grief along with everything else. Her kids, the funeral plans, but that didn't stop Nick's business partner Dave from
wanting to move forward with insurance paperwork. Dave kept pushing Alicia to sign documents, but she wasn't ready. In
fact, she was actually worried that Nick could have been killed for this insurance money. So, eventually Alicia
gets a lawyer and decides to push back. The lawyers find that Nick signed when he bought into the business, which
stated that in the event of a death, everything would be split 50/50. So, like 6 months after Nick is killed,
Alicia is advised to sign the paperwork and file the claim so she can support her young kids. Except after she files,
the insurance company tells her there's a problem. They already received her signed documents.
She says, "That has to be wrong." She swears she never signed anything. So, she thinks someone would have had to
forge her signature. And when they asked, "Do you know anyone who would do that?" Alicia only had one answer.
