In the months leading up to his death, Nicholas “Nick” Cordova began expressing concerns to his wife, Alysha.
About six months before he was killed, Nick told her he felt like someone was watching him. At first, it seemed far-fetched — but his concerns only grew.
By March 2020, Nick revealed that his business partner, David Sweetman, had taken $30,000 from their company account without warning. When confronted, Dave claimed he would repay it. But the situation escalated when even more money was taken the following month.
Nick told Alysha he was worried about what Dave might be involved in and said he wanted out of the business. His stress continued to build in the weeks before his death, along with his fear that he was being watched.
