way out and then no they're excited because they never seen them originally what happened was one of the
officers was dispatched down here in this general area to a drunk mail outside about the same time that she was
arriving A call came in from another party saying that there was a large fight happening at the Taj Mahal here so
we had several units respond just due to the fact that there was so many people involved and such when we arrived on
scene there was actually a large fight that was just ending several people had been sprayed with pepper and a lot of
them were still Milling around and being quite uncooperative and we tried to move
some people out and they refused to move and subsequently we made several of us for being drunk in a public place and
we've tried to move it out and diffuse the situation by getting some of the more volatile people moved out of the
way okay we have several complaints came in from different call being smashed in the parking lot of the
McDonald's on 152 and about 102. he was the one that I kicked in my window out and
punched me in the head he is he's the one the one okay just a sec I want you I want you to come
out again over here you guys stay here I don't want to see you over there he's the person who kicked in your
window he's the one that kicked in your window and punched you I kicked in your window
car you said one-on-one right now and all your buddies came up yeah so they're just a bunch of guys
that you know but you don't know we're all just partying together just friends being drinking and having okay so do you
know who who actually did the damage to the vehicle you don't have a clue it was
one guy it was the one on the back of my car I don't remember who kicked the side
because my jacket was going with you I kicked your car I admit it I didn't break nothing on your car did I
you're I don't know there was two two three guys trying to kick the [ __ ] out of my car I catch a car because I wanted
my jacket and you were taking off that's the only reason I kicked your car okay I'm just telling you right now you're
under arrest for uh mischief and assault okay he did hit you did he not here okay can I get my friends coming
through police station then okay just a second I'm just I have to tell you some things okay okay you're under arrest for

involved in this mischief and assault was he the one that busted okay now but he was not busting her window he busted
mine yeah he was the one that started the fight with this gentleman here yeah and busted his window yes and told
everybody to jump on him okay he obviously wanted his jacket back I mean that was his main thing trying to help
him out and then yeah [Music] [Applause] he's probably going back to where the party was to begin with which was
somewhere in uh Langley between Langley and Cloverdale so what's going to happen
with that guy well I didn't let him go he took off I was just I was just putting him in the
back and he and he just took off did he get his license plate and everything yeah that's what I broadcast so they're
looking for the car okay I feel the reason why he ended up taking off is I found out later through some of the
witnesses around that he was really concerned about obtaining his jacket back he was sure that if I if I found
the jacket and and searched him that I would find drugs on him and I at that time did not know that there was a
possibility of him carrying drugs and I'm almost positive that's why he took off on me

how there's some information that there's a male driving a vehicle and he's hit a curb now according to gas
station at 10 he's trying to get the car out of there with a flat tire there he is
now pulling up hmm okay pick up brown in Vancouver did you have too much to drink tonight

Surrey yeah okay you lock up your car because I'm not gonna let you drive it tonight plus you can't drive it

doesn't like questions okay do you show them your driver's license so he knows where to take you okay
what happened is he come by here because he was um was he's trying to yeah we saw
yeah you started telling me about his rights came in Boston stopped and went out here yeah
well that's pretty well what happened with us and there's no sense to explain to him that it's being told because he's
just getting more and more upset he's obviously been drinking which is probably the best thing is for him to
have had that flat tire and at least he'll get home safely the thing he doesn't realize if you look at the tire
he can't repair it himself he's got to have that like he's torn it to shred you've obviously driven on it so because
anyways we sent him home in a cab and hopefully when he sobers up he'll realize the vehicles what he'll do is
phone our Detachment to report it and they'll tell him it's at Monday yeah exactly yeah when you get off
anyway thanks for your help hey ma'am I gotta say did you have patience if I was
a police officer personally I would have locked him up 15 minutes before the cab even came he
is just screaming and hollering and I've seen enough cop shows and to Serve and Protect to say that the Paddy Wagon
would have been here and they would have took him away saying you're drunk and that's it good night and I gotta say she
had the most patience and if I ever get pulled over which I won't because I'm a good boy I hope it's by you because you
have enough patience to say leave and go home well thanks you guys have a good night huh yeah yeah he just wasn't
understanding too much because he's so upset so go ahead anyways thanks for your help eh you're

public thinks were that we're they think that we have so much patience with it in a lot of things to us it's
just they're doing our job and it's you know it's a lot easier if you can to get
them to go home and sober up and you know get into a fight haul them into jail and really then in the morning you
got a guy who's got a terrible you know memory of his contact with the police when you know I mean there's times when
you have to do that but if you can talk him into going home sobering up as long as he's somewhere where he's
safe and he can't get into trouble that's pretty well what our what our job is is just what we did

again that was a decent town all night we have not been able to go to bed because those guys were back in the
building looking for these guys again drug dealers we were just responding to a call about basically of a male who was
house in the clerk here at the store when we arrived it's a male I guess it's been drinking all night and in addition
it looks like he may have taken some drugs extremely violent there were four males holding them down when we arrived
and it took several of us police officers in order to get them handcuffed and in the car and usually what happens
if they're drinking and they take any kind of drugs that's when they start to get violent and we haven't sorted out
what made it that way but we're basically going to take him back to the sales and book them in for the night

laugh from walking across two individuals fighting on the medium down on the King George down the 12300 block
when we got there was a male and a female when we separated and we found that both had a knife in their hand one
had a steak knife and the other one had a small paring knife and then the girl in their other hand had a
pocket folding knife that you didn't have open uh it appears the way he was acting with
uh not responding to pressure points and not that he's probably had more than just liquor in his system tonight so he
got mildly sprayed with some pepper spray which calmed him down enough so we could control him and get him into the
back seat of the car [Music] it's the police hello where are you it's the police can't come in sorry can you

department was heading over they're unsure if there's anybody in the house or anything so we'll go and check
