I'm Peter Van satin on the next 48 hours this is a personal adventure for me in Panama the second time I've been to that
country to cover the murder of an American in Panama this time it's a young woman by the name of Yvonne
baldelli who back in 2011 leaves her home in Southern California with the man of her dreams a guy named Brian
brimminger and off to Panama they go to start a new life but just Weeks Later Brian comes back
alone and he marries another woman within just a couple of weeks a woman who has the highest national
security credentials in the United States a woman who used to work for Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice
well Yvonne's family based in Rochester New York head off to Central America trying to find their daughter and we
begin with them a three-year-long Odyssey we searched through dense jungle like I'm in right now teeming cities they go
on National Television this becomes an international story as people are trying to find Yvonne baldelli and for me I get
to team up again with one of the great investigators on planet Earth a man named Don winter we did a story with him
a few years back Don's one of my favorite people and man is he sharp he's like the Columbo of Central America and
slowly but surely through dozens of interviews sweaty interviews all over Panama
