On May 24, 2023, Lakesha Thompson died from a gunshot wound at the Clayton County, Georgia, home of her fiancé, Nathan Fitten, while visiting the Atlanta area. Authorities concluded that the wound was self-inflicted, but Lakesha’s daughter, Ondrea Fluker, believes the available evidence leaves serious unanswered questions.
