Were the Nancy Guthrie Ransom Notes Released because of Crime Junkie?! #nancyguthrie | Forensic Files

Hi guys, Breanna here. I just wanted to come on. I'm back in Arizona and today is technically the 6-month anniversary
since Nancy got through with abducted. So, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos just put out a brand new video addressing a
lot of things and I want to thank the Crime Junkies because all of you that listened and
watched me and Ashley's episode last week seems to have really moved the needle as to why the sheriff just
released the physical pictures of the ransom notes. Here's what he said about it.
>> Department released two ransom notes. Why now? >> Well, really two reasons. One, it's out
there. People have been media has covered some of this and we just saw what was being said and felt
like we need to put something out that's really accurate. Um and this was the time. We felt like
investigators felt like there's a number of pieces of information in these notes
that someone might just might jar someone to say, you know, I've heard that. We We hope that by
releasing the actual note we'll get some response from the community. >> Thank you guys. It is so important for
the public to have all of the information at this point. Something that somebody sees in that ransom note,
they hear the language, they hear what this person is demanding, that could lead to a new viable tip. So, it is just
so important that we're at this point. He also addressed some other things. A lot of people asking, why has he not had
a press conference since week one? It's something I've asked. And this was his answer to that.
>> Press conferences are are actually more designed for when you have a very specific piece of information that you
want out in front and you need help with. We do that. In this regard, we felt like just a media release was
sufficient. >> Couple of other important notes. He says there are, quote, "Thousands and
thousands of videos that they're going through as evidence." We haven't seen those. We've only seen Port Sky in that
video. He says his relationship with the FBI is really good. That's been controversial. One other really
important note, he said that of the people who were detained in the beginning of the investigation, that was
three people. That was DoorDash driver Carlos Pedrozuelos. And then Luke and Mary Daily. I interviewed Luke and Mary
Daily. They were adamant that they are not involved, but the sheriff basically says none of them are actually
technically cleared. The only thing he absolutely confirmed is that Savannah Guthrie, the Guthrie siblings, the
Guthrie family is cleared. They are not suspects in the case. Please keep the Guthrie family in your thoughts. And of
course, if you know anything at all, call the tip line, call Pima County Sheriff's Department, call the FBI. And
Sheriff Nanos even said, if you feel like it, call 911. It is that important. I'm here in Arizona. I'll be on top of
the Guthrie investigation. I was 6 months ago. I still am and I still will be. Thank you so much to everybody who's
been paying attention and invested in this case.
