Nicole level disappeared we actually got an email sent out across campus from Virginia Tech police that said that a
13-year-old girl who's a resident of blackburg went missing and the news of the kidnapp in um and eventual murder
came out a few days later tonight we are learning new chilling details about the
death of Nicole LEL a few days after The Disappearance they reported that they had someone in custody based on evidence
and at that point campus was Ablaze because they knew that it was a freshman they knew that it would cause another
Scandal because he was a Virginia Tech student 18-year-old Eisenhower a Virginia Tech freshman engineering major
how aware were you uh of the 2007 uh Virginia Tech shootings and did that come to mind in this like oh no not
again I did not personally have any connection really to the 2007 incident but it's very much part of our cultural
history any of this makes sense to you at all I think the the worst part is that everyone
involved was so young any idea why a college freshman athlete would have been reaching out to a 13-year-old girl I
can't think of too many reasons there are still a lot of lot of unanswered questions about why he specifically
targeted um a 13-year-old I think for potential criminals and potential murders and
potential pedophiles these apps are certainly an advantage but I think that there are ways that we could improve it
and as technology improves I think there are ways that we may be able to monitor
it better so that we may be able to keep children safe if they don't know exactly
quite yet how to navigate through to be um very safe regarding who they speak to
and who it is that they're speaking to behind the um behind the screen
