I lived in Miami my whole life you know I came here I was fortunate enough that when America opened its arms to another
wave of immigrants the Cubans this time I was able to come with my family and leave Castro's communist Cuba start a
new life here so Miami's pretty much all I've known cuz I came very young I worked my way
through undergrad and law school as a police officer I was youngest cop in Miami I was 19 years old and I would go
to class all day especially during law school I would go to class all day and at 4:30 I put up my uniform and patrol
all night and that's the way I worked my way through law school so I'd be arresting somebody for burglary and then
getting in the car and studying studying the rule against perpetuities or some other legal concept
it wasn't the ideal way to go through law school but you do what you have to do and that's what I had to do you know
Miami is pretty much the city I've known like anywhere else you live you start getting a little tired and say well you
know what I think I might move somewhere but every time I go away for any period of time just a few weeks
I miss it and I'm always happy to come back it's a great place it just has pretty much everything that you would
want in a place you live
