Panola Mountain, which is a small part of the larger Sans Bois Mountain in Latimer County, Oklahoma. This truck had
been spotted there a few days earlier, but today was the day that someone noticed a dog trapped inside the locked
truck. By the time Sheriff Israel Beecham and a few of his deputies arrive, it's already dark and they have
to break a window to get the small, emaciated dog out. Now, it's clear that she had been in there for days and was
on the verge of, honestly, death. But, the dog was maybe one of the least strange things found in the vehicle.
According to the Oklahoman, the keys are still in the ignition, even though the car was locked. Someone's Blackberry was
left behind, along with a few coats and other items of clothing, like a purse, $32,000
in cash in a bag under the seat, and IDs belonging to Sherilyn and Bobby Jameson.
Then there's a seven-page letter signed by Sherilyn to Bobby, who it becomes clear is her husband.

On October 17, 2009, authorities in Latimer County, Oklahoma responded to reports of an abandoned pickup truck on Panola Mountain after someone noticed a dog trapped inside.

When deputies broke into the locked vehicle, they discovered a disturbing scene. The keys were still in the ignition.

A Blackberry phone, clothing, IDs, a purse, and $32,000 in cash had all been left behind. Investigators also found a seven-page handwritten letter from Sherilynn Jamison to her husband Bobby.

But Bobby, Sherilynn, and their six-year-old daughter Madyson were nowhere to be found.
