After midnight she is released from the Malibu/ Lost Hills Sheriff's station. She is without her car, purse and cellphone. She simply sets off on her own without provisions and walks off into the darkness. A little after 6am a trespasser matching Mitrice's description is spotted in the backyard of a home in Cold Canyon. Was this Mitrice? Regardless Mitrice was sent out into the dark, alone with no transportation in an area that she is unfamiliar and she disappears.
