my name is Joseph Moore I've known Nancy and Trey for 33 years we were like family Nancy and Trey met at a hospital
setting he was a talented doctor she has a master's in nursing and they met in the operating room and they fell in love
tre's reputation was impeccable as a doctor his reputation was very very good in the medical community Trey is very
intelligent he helped his wife in her Endeavors Nancy and Trey had visited Brazil and visited the rainforest and
she took a particular interest in the Victoria water lily and so she founded the Victoria water lily Conservancy here
in Denver and she also lectured at the Denver Botanic Gardens and so I would say they were very influential in town
they were very prominent very well respected Trey's career was cut short because of his neuropathy and so he was
no longer able to go to the operating room each day and particularly he couldn't stand
because of a nerve pain in his feet and so they lost that income from his very successful practice that was a big blow
to them they did move from their beautiful home because they couldn't afford to live there any longer and it
upset him a great deal that he had let his family down we were so shocked to learn what
had happened and when we we saw the mug shots of Nancy and Trey no one could believe that was even them in fact I got
so many phone calls that said is that our Nancy because people just couldn't believe what had occurred the Press has
painted a picture that is not really fair to Nancy and Trey not only have the fs lost a beloved family member but
everyone who knew Nancy and Trey has also been affected by this as well I believe that Nancy Styler played no part
in this murder she's not capable of that she would never consider taking someone's life I was shocked to know
that Trey had confed to the murder I think he must have been in a very dark moment and I think he we all sometimes
go to a very dark place I'm sorry for Nancy Styler I'm sorry for Nancy Fister I think the situation has been
horrible for so many people how do I feel about Trey I do feel sorry for him as a human being that is
broken and that when your mental health and your physical health deteriorate into such a way in such a manner that
something like this occurs that you have to feel sorry for him I don't feel angry with him I I
really don't
