hello hi David it's Richard slesinger hello sir how are you I roll over and I'm feeling for her
so I'm going to cuddle with her then all of a sudden I realize she's not there and I sit up like oh my God she's going
to be mad I go out there to wake her up and I find her and her body was cold and
hard she was dead so what did you do I walked around I took the tape off her I said you need to calm down think about
this this doesn't look good you're going to be in trouble what did you do with the body I moved her body into this
extra room I covered her with a sheet and I said calm down you need to call a lawyer I started trying to call lawyers
cold I didn't know who to call I looking at criminal attorney ads and there's a lot of them finally I call a lawyer's
office and it's after 11 now and I catch one that I get through to and I tell him
the quick version of what had happened and he tells me that for me to go ahead and represent you I would need
$150,000 and you'll probably get 10 years I said 10 years I didn't do anything you're not
listening he said no you're not listening they're not going to believe you if you don't go ahead and handle
this the right way they'll crucify you and I want wasn't going to do 10 years Richard after you decided that you
couldn't hire the lawyer what did you do with her body I went ahead and put her into this antique steamer trunk and I
took some gray heavy duty garbage liners that I had in the closet and I put one over
her and I told myself I couldn't even look at her I said this isn't Dawn Dawn's in heaven and I put the bag over
her then I put that one in another bag and then another bag so three bags back into the trunk
I knew I had to go to work you know I'm going have people there working so I put
the trunk in the back of my vehicle I drove to work and I went in there put my head down and just started
working and it was Dawn in the trunk triple bagged in the trunk now it's in the back of my the Toyota
that I drive and I pulled it right up next to the dumpster where I park a lot of days right in front of the
shed and I went in I still wasn't decided what I was going to do at this point and
about 12:45 the garbage truck came on and I saw him enter the west side of the parking lot and I said to myself you got
to do something you've got to do something so what what did you do when I the truck got closer I went
out to the Toyota I opened the back I took the trunk out of the vehicle no one was out there fortunately
I picked the three bags up I put it in the dumpster picked up a bunch of cardboard that was on the side
of the dumpster and I threw them in on top of the dumpster on top of her body and I went back in there washed my
hands and just saw to myself you're going to hell David
