Drone captures more than vineyard beauty | Forensic Files

this week's 48 hours is set in the gorgeous countryside of Napa Valley we were fortunate enough to capture its
beauty before the 2017 wildfires devastated so much of this area to get these shots we used a drone Tracy on
cameras this is take five first shot a drone from the air we could really give viewers a sense of how vast
the rolling hills and vineyards are and how small one person seems in relation to it all his family has worked in these
valleys for generations but the drone was handy for more than just stunning shots this case is about two
millionaires in a nasty dispute which culminates in a wild chase through a vineyard with one man firing a gun
through the window of his SUV as the other man runs for his life to convey this scenario we set up in a vineyard
and flew the drone alongside a car similar to that of the killer's as it raced past the vines we did several
takes from various heights and angles and this was the result the drone can convey a sense of movement
and urgency in a way a traditional camera on a tripod can't the sweeping shots of the valley bring home the
breathtaking beauty of this place and just how shocking it was that such a horrid violent crime could happen here
