detectives where are we we are on a dead-end country road about 45 miles west of Milwaukee and this is the area
that Kris Zocco brought the body this is the area this is the road yes and why would he have chosen this place what
could be more secluded than where we are right now correct we're standing out here in the middle of the road yes no
cars are coming and when you look around there are people that actually live on this road not many but do you see their
homes you don't see their homes you don't see their barns you can see the cornfields you can see all the trees in
the brush and how rural this area is more importantly Peter look at the crest of that hill
look at the road up there what a perfect spot for anyone that wanted to not be seen that wanted to do something as
dastardly as what Kris Zocco did with Kelly Dwyer what a perfect spot nobody would see you parked here no one would
see you parked for a long period of time probably he certainly is taking a risk pulling over this to the side of any
road and dumping someone's body where were the remains well this is the the exact area where the remains were found
Peter this is this entire areas where Kelly Dwyers body was found and did you notice anything about the skeletal
remains that made you think this is Kelly well absolutely when I was able to look at her skull the
one thing that what the only thing that was very well preserved were her teeth and as you know from viewing all of the
photographs she has one of the most beautiful smiles and perfect teeth and I just I looked at those teeth and I just
had the feeling that it was Kelly I also noticed that some of some of her fingernails she had bright pink fur nail
polish as well as on a couple of her toenails and I knew that she had been wearing that polish or at least that
color a similar color in some of the video that we had taken from actually in those last moments where she's still
alive to last you know when she's walking into the lobby towards the elevator and she's kind of animated
herself so you could kind of get flashes of that and when I saw that I thought oh
this is I'm 99 9 percent sure this is going to be Kelly

When Kelly Dwyer vanished in October 2013 from the Milwaukee apartment building of her boyfriend Kris Zocco,, there were no clues about her whereabouts. Days turned into months and the case went cold. However, now-retired Milwaukee Police Cold Case Det. Kathy Spano never gave up hope that Kelly would one day be found.
