A 23-year fight for justice inspires hope for others | Forensic Files

[Music] for about 23 years the Angie dodge cases have been an unsolved murder and Carol
dodge has been working to help find the person that killed her daughter the final key that opened the door to
justice was technology from jenny ology threw us some really great advances in science and through some really great
detective work we were able to find that suspect and to arrest him somebody asked
me they said well does this bring closure and I paused for a minute and I thought to myself yes but no in a sense
its closure for us but it's also an opening for somebody else because they're asking the same question when is
it going to be my turn there are so many unsolved cases in the United States and
there just isn't funding for these cases to be solved my son set up a GoFundMe and it's called five for hope
the idea behind five for Hope is to provide some funding for those that are underfunded
for DNA testing DNA testing is extremely expensive if we can donate too many so one family as closure I'd be so grateful
everybody can contribute five dollars into the GoFundMe and we use that money to fund different
places that would do the good that we see that would help others $5 isn't very much but if we all contribute just think
of all of the cases that possibly could have justice [Music]
