I think for a lot of these stories you develop such strong bonds with the people you meet and when I met Vicki it
became apparent that she had a story to tell you could see that she was a mother
on a mission a mother that hadn't given up so it was at that moment I realized that this is the story our guts told us
that there's something more here it encouraged us to dig a little bit deeper we had to keep an open mind and look at
it from a very critical point of view we had to be very careful that her investigation wasn't found just out of
grief but out of fact and so we scrutinized this material that she had gathered which was just amazing the
cold-case detectives have been working this daily it's important not to be an accuser but a searcher for the truth of
what happened to gather the evidence to analyze that these guys are not going to
stop until they are satisfied they have an answer even if they find this is not a case of murder we'll follow it to its
conclusion there's no arrest and there may never be an arrest just as have an answer just to know what happened that
night on those train tracks that's what everybody wants to know
