get out of the car and she said they were over there the papers were over there on that paint
can you go over to the paint can there's no papers my turn around and here she comes around the card she's got this
tail and a gun you're laughing now but you are laughing and so anyway that that's that's what she brought up and
started shooting well I run out the other end of the barn when you were running what was going through your mind
you're absolutely running for your life and you think you're gonna die and I go over a barber fence there and and I'm
just done I'm on the ground I'm just laying there and I'm defenseless at this point and I closed my eyes she pulled
the trigger I knew I was gone there was no doubt in my mind if she had run out of bullets
I'd be dead

Steve Walker says that in 1995, Raynella Leath lured him to her farm and tried to shoot him. She was charged with attempted murder, but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of assault. After six years her record was expunged.
