where were you and how'd you make your way out well as the ramming went on the ones that were with me in the temple
when the tank would come in the front and spray we'd move his father back as we could tank had pushed a big hole in
the wall so we kind of sampled you know if we jump out this hole will they shoot
us we didn't know I think it was about noon somebody from upstairs yelled the buildings on fire all of a sudden all of
this smoke came down this outside of the building and when it got to the hole it
got sucked in and everything turned black you couldn't see anything and praying saying Lord you better do
something if you're gonna get us out of this I'd have probably been burned to death except that people behind me
further into the building started screaming so I jumped up and I stumbled over all this debris and jumped out of
the hole and when I got out I I kind of looked back and the hole was just a mass
of flames and I thought man I'm the only one that got out the skin was rolling off my hands it
wasn't blistering it was just rolling off it was a big like a fireball went up at the hip out in the center of the
building then when I saw the fireball I said well nobody's getting out of there now

On the morning of April 19, 1993, the FBI began ramming tanks into the Branch Davidian compound, shooting tear gas into the building to try to drive people out. Suddenly flames appeared. Branch Davidian Clive Doyle was one of only nine survivors, although at the time, he believed he was the only one.
