Using FaceTime to help solve a case | Forensic Files

I'm Tracy Smith in Midland Texas this week's 48 hours is about The Disappearance of a Houston mom named
Michelle Warner and about how her family Enlisted the help of Dr Phil to find her
but it's also about a really clever use of Technology by the detectives investigating the case if you have an
iPhone maybe you've used FaceTime for conference calls or like I do to talk with your kids when you're out of town
well these detectives use FaceTime in an entirely different way without giving too much away there was somebody close
to Michelle who had some clues about her disappearance clues that led them to this area now he was in Houston which is
more than eight hours away so instead of bringing him here detectives called him
up on FaceTime and then had him guide them to the spot where he thought the clues might be and sure enough using
FaceTime they helped solve this case now this just is one of the twists in a story that took us from Texas to
Hollywood and back to Texas again we hope you'll join us
