i'm peter van sad and coming up on 48 hours I've seen a lot of murder but never a case quite like this one you
have to go way back in time September first 1979 a beautiful young woman Janet Walsh 23 years old recently separated
from her husband is out on the town with a group of friends this isn't an area outside of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
called Beaver County she dances she goes to a restaurant late in the wee hours the morning she heads back home later
that day her father discovers her in her bedroom she's been murdered hands tied behind her back she's been strangled to
death who would kill Janet Walsh well within a few days authorities come up with a number of suspects five men
including her ex-husband a local businessman and a drifter she'd spent some time with that night but the case
hits a wall they cannot solve it there's no eyewitnesses really know much of anything ten years past 20 30 finally a
cold case unit with DNA technology improving decides to take a look at some of the evidence that was saved all those
decades from the death scene the question I have for you is is this murder case solved inside of
Pennsylvania laboratory you're gonna have to watch to find out it's a fascinating story so many twists and
