Sylvie Cachay: A friend to animals | Forensic Files

Sylvie was the first person to help we you know one day we're walking home Thanksgiving and there was a there was a
pigeon that was injured and she was convinced it was a dove it was a pigeon and so we lived with this pigeon for 3
months to rehabilitate it till finally we found someone to take on a pigeon she was always a helpful little girl we had
to stop her to you know pick up dogies cats in our home she'd always come home with turtles and I would always want to
go play and we'd always end up having to take care of animals and feed them so let me see some of the images you took
of Sylvie this is obviously my photograph with one of her dogs with these uh Japanese goggles is that pepper
that is pepper she took them everywhere she went she would take them to work she
would take them to restaurants and sit outside even in the heat because they weren't allowed in she would travel with
them so they were her babies the day of her death and Heather testified to this that she picked up a pigeon that had a
broken wing um and she brought it into work that's a intense day so she came in around like 11: and she had been at
Macy's that morning shopping for some baby clothes for a charity and when she showed up she had
the clothes and then she had this injured pigeon in like a Dunkin Donuts box and was like I found it on the
ground people were kicking it all around and she was just like distraught she was
so sad she was such an animal lover so we were like trying to nurse it back to health at my desk in the office and um
it had eventually died and she was just like a mess at it you know like crying so hard but that was so her something
was injured and something was hurt and something needed help she was um very generous with her love
