I'm Mike aie I've known Oscar for the past 14 years and I would like to believe that I'm a father figure to him
I'm Adam azy I've grown up with Oscar over the last 14 years and he's like a brother to me you know I can describe
Oscar in many different ways cuz I've grown up with him so seen different parts of Oscar like when he were before
he was professional athlete you know and he's always been a driven guy he always
was competitive at school you know wanted to do well whether it was academic or in sports he always had the
instinct to do the best that he could and I think that's what drove him to do so well in his Athletics when he took it
on he you know just reached for the heights that he could and uh you see where he got I have noticed he's a man
that sort of if you had to open a release of the air on a balloon and you watch the air I'm releasing slowly for
me that's what has been like watching OS at the moment a man that's full of confidence and his confidence is
diminishing there's never conversation that's ever ended without one of the parties saying I love you I'm hoping
that he'll be able to cope with life what's going to be dealt to him obviously life is not going to be the
same for Oscar at all I fear that he gets a sentence that doesn't go his way but I just hope for the best because to
me he's close to me and my family so you know um I want things to go out in his way but at the same time in saying that
you also feel for re's family and you just you know live lost a daughter and Oscar lost a loved one he sort of said
to me that Uncle Mark I loved her and when he said it he he burst into tears and he broke down and he said I really
love this girl and and I miss her what happened was a tragedy we are a Catholic Family and we pretty religious and we
pray every single day and we burn this candle for Oscar to have life and obviously it's surrounded by a circle of
angels and this is our way of knowing that Oscar is continuously in our thoughts and prayers and we burn a
candle for him continuously in the house
