there were two of us that really even throughout all this conflicting testimony uh you just really had a feeling that
Michael Ferrara was partially responsible for what happened to John McCade but you couldn't get that across
H boy I wish I could have did you try we tried of course we did what what argument did you use well the best
argument obviously is why does anybody admit to being involved in a murder when they had nothing to do with it and
that's what Edward Brown did Brown said he was there yes that just makes no sense and you would you would argue that
to the other jurors and they would say what they would say he's not a credible witness right off the bat um probably
two hours into our deliberations we took a vote it was 10 to two I was one of the
two you wanted to convict him of something yes yes I really felt that he had taken part in
this man slaughter wasn't an option which you really felt like it probably was so we were really
dissecting uh two of us were anyway everybody else seemed like they were pretty pretty firm and not guilty were
you surprised when Walter Shelly was convicted same evidence same Witnesses I certainly was I think I know
the answer to this but were you pleased of course I was we got part of it right
