We’re drinking Guinness: a smooth, dark stout that’s creamy in texture with an after-bite that’s both bitter and sweet. It’s malty, chocolatey and has a subtle punch of coffee. This classic brew originates from Dublin, Ireland. Although, I’m told by the Irish that Guinness only lives up to its reputation on Irish soil. Regardless, my dad calls it the adult protein shake.
