nothing there nothing he gave us the thumbs up when he was found not guilty you mean back in 1997 yes tell me what
happened on October 29th 1997 my phone rang and it was the it was the Newport News police all they said what's that
Joey had been shot I know that he was put on his knees and shot I know him when they say a fight and that he was
going to fight that's just really hard for me to believe since Joey's 510 he's small and not only that was dressed and
really good clothes had his earrings in he would not go there by himself these were not his friends who was charged
with his death George birch believed his story was he fired up in the air and he acted similar
in that trial that he did in this trial - he was scared he was a victim there was so many different stories and what
happened not guilty pretty quickly - it was shocking when they said not guilty tell me what all
this is after their verdict we were so angry and there was nothing we could do so we just made a bunch of flyers and
put them all around what do they say no justice setting a killer free there was nothing else they could do we were just
outraged really how did the two of you find out that he had been charged again with murder but this time in Green Bay
Shaina sent me an article and we both immediately said we're gonna be there what do you miss about him everything
and this that's what's been hard it's like doing it all over again what do you mean just reading the articles um it
just takes you right back to 20 years ago it's like reliving the whole thing again
