Former homecoming queens reunite to discuss murder case | Forensic Files

Just about to sit down with Heather Snyder. Her ex-husband Joe Shamansky had been murdered and her former boyfriend
Brandon Hullbrook had been charged with his murder. It's an incredible case. What's equally
incredible is that Heather Snyder and I grew up together here in a tiny town, Newport, Pennsylvania. The last time
we'd seen each other before this story happened was in 1998 when I crowned her homecoming queen. It's surreal for me
and I'd imagine for her to be sitting down in our hometown decades after we last saw each other to talk about this.
The victim's family has had so many questions. The Shamansky family has very publicly said that they feel like
Heather Snider isn't saying everything that she knows. We need to piece the pieces of the puzzle together. She's
agreed to sit down with me with 48 hours with CBS News exclusively and she has agreed to address any question that I
have. Did you have any involvement at all in Joe Shamansky's murder? >> No. >> So many people watching are going to be
frustrated and they're going to think it it just >> logically you have to have known
something, >> right? But I didn't. That's the torturous part because people will, it's almost like they want to
believe that I was involved with it. They want that true crime narrative and it just simply wasn't the case.
