Florida investigators hunt for unusual weapons in brutal 1994 attack, murder | Forensic Files

how would you describe the knife well the knife was a dagger it you know was it had you know sharp edges on both
sides but what's unusual about the knife is a knife has a hilt on it okay and that's you know where the blade drops
into the handle there's a a cross piece okay and that was very unusual because it was a gold chain that was basically
you know inter wound or Twisted together that was the hilt the hilt and was he holding it like this the way you would a
dagger is it down he wasn't holding it like this I'm pretty sure he was holding it like this with a gun was pointing at
me at that point he stood in the family room right there and I think investigators interviewed Bunny and Bob
12 days after the attack bunny demonstrates how she was forced to lay down on the floor he comes up and he's
got a knee on me and he's pushing me down and he knows I can't go any further down and he's got the knife and he's
pricking the top of my skull he had a real relationship with that dagger he starts pricking my scalp all over and I
start whining and saying ow ow ow you know cuz it really hurt but he wasn't breaking the skin at that point and uh
then he started stabbing me he was building it was the the anxiety was building or whatever was wrong with him
was building bunny you said that you pushed your head with uh down where was T the night he was controlling the top
of my head with pricking my scalp and for the first time his agitation was coming out through one of his weapons
and I knew he was controlling me with the knife it what do you make of the fact that the as salent was kind of
pricking bunny on the head before he stabbed her well it could be that getting enough uh courage to do it a lot
of people do hesitation before they kill themselves with a knife or something you'll see hesitation marks where
they've cut their wrist kind of practicing and then they do it maybe they haven't killed anybody before maybe
they didn't intend to kill anybody when they came and now they're thinking they're going to have to and they're
getting up the nerve to do it so they take a few exploratory stabs and then figure out they can do it and then to go
ahead and do it the Intruder also carried a gun similar to this one the gun looked like a a 9 M 45 caliber
something like that like a an army gun kind of looking gun a uh uh a squared up kind of thing
wasn't a smooth looking gun it was Square well the only thing I can think of is the gun was dark and the gun
didn't glimmer just walking back and forth something real interesting happened is the clip out of his gun had
come out how I don't know cuz my back's turned this way all I can remember and seeing a clip hit the floor right here
Bob says he then realized something strange about that gun when he dro the clip on the floor I mean you of course
I'm looking this way I'm looking right at it and it's dark in here and and I couldn't tell if there was any bullets
in the clip it did not sound like a full clip would I would think sound in my mind if you guys took a clip that and
dropped on the floor instead of a a thud sound like thud it's all solid it gave kind of a a Tenny kind of sound like a
hollow sound yeah like a hollow Tenny sound it turned out not to be a Le a weapon at all investigators were able to
identify it when a magazine was found at the scene it's actually a prop made by brixia it fires blanks and is used in
the theater and movies
