we did talk a little bit about Stacy Stewart but you were talking about where he worked and Stu can you be more
specific like who who is Stacy Stewart why was he here where did he work give me a little more
detail who's Stacy Stewart I mean using his name too I guess might help to uh Stacy Stewart had come to this area to
start um a new company and this they were they were expanding uh new Corp was expanding and and they were opening a
branch called vulcraft of New York uh in Shamong Stacy was one of the first crew
uh that was going to be on site to get that up and running and going he had been staying in a hotel for a very you
know for a lengthy time during this process and lefties where Michelle worked was very close to the hotel had
excellent food obviously great staff um and he would visit visit there quite a bit you know they were pretty limited
what was available to them but he was certainly just in the area to to set up ballcraft of New York um as they were
opening their business here and when you say that he was one of the first members
of the crew to set up but what was he doing do you know either I don't really know I don't know what he was doing I
think they were getting the line set up um going through the interview process I
mean they they were working at the same company at another location so they were
seasoned you know they they knew the process and what is vulcraft I don't know what what kind of business Greg can
explain that better than I can what is it ballcraft is a is a Joyce manufacturing facility um
and um there's seven different divisions around the United States of V crafts um
Stacy worked at the vulcraft in Texas and he transferred here like many other people um there were people that
transferred from Utah from Texas from South Carolina um Alabama there were there's people came from all over the
country here to to get this facility up and running and do you know what Stacy was doing specifically to get it going
um he he worked um you know they had seasoned employees come to train um the people of this area to to get the
the tion line started and what do you know about Stacy Stewart do you know much about him personally or his
background um I actually I worked on the same line as him when I first started um
I didn't work directly with him um so I I I knew who he was I I didn't know a lot about him and and still don't know a
lot about him is it weird you he bought property here and then left it and just moved back to Texas isn't that a little
odd um a lot of people left their home and came here and the large majority of them left and went home um it's it's uh
you know it's a big deal to pack up and and move away from home so um I'd say more than way more than half of the
people that transferred here ended up going back home so it's it's not surprising people left homes people you
know you know went back to their their lives where they came from and you don't think it has anything the fact that
Stacy Stewart bought property here and then left after Michelle disappeared do you think that is all connected in any
way I think it was a coincidence um you know it's it's like I said many many of the the people that transferred here
came they stayed for you know some of them stayed longer than others but it was you know it's it it's tough to leave
home and and most of them ended up going back about how old was Stacy back 2001 one I don't have any idea yeah do you
have any idea how old I don't know how old he'd be now but no time to Michelle did Michelle ever go out with him or
express any concerns about Stacy St the the talk that we had about Stacy is um me and Michelle had talked about
the the new plant that was getting built and some guys um that worked there came
into lefties and she had talked to me about that so I mean I heard Stacy's name in those conversations but it was
just guys that were you know from ballcraft that that came in there for dinner at night you think if she were
worried about somebody she'd tell you oh yes I mean she you know she told us that
she was worried about kale Harris I'm you know that's the one person she ever mentioned or talked about being afraid
of was kale um she never said anything about Stacy or any of the other number of people you know that the the defense
have brought up I'm not aware of any relationship that Michelle had with Stacy other than her working at lefties
and and him visiting there
