I'm Aaron morard with 48 hours every week we go where the story takes us but the case of Tracy Grom took us to some
places we didn't expect first some background Tracy Grom is a 32-year-old mother of two who was charged with
murder after she gunned down her ex-husband she said it was self-defense she said that she had to use deadly
force because he had hurt her in the past and she specifically said that 18 months earlier he had assaulted and
raped her now in many cases of domestic abuse there isn't any evidence domestic abuse occurs behind closed doors but
Tracy had all of these pictures take a look I mean and these are serious pictures she said this happened on the
night that he threw her down and cut her head left her to die this a bruise on her inner leg another bruise on her leg
but here's what's so interesting these pictures were taken on a smartphone and in the past you wouldn't have that kind
of information that you get on a smartphone and when we looked at that information we realized that maybe there
were some real questions about her story the bottom line is a picture like this is worth a thousand words but sometimes
it tells more than one story
