were you worried about his going into the Marines just because he was small no I never thought about that at
all MH he was very strong well you know what kind of body dancers have mhm most people think of ballet as an art form MH
and it is an art form but just as much it is a sport and the men in the ballet room
can outdo a lot of men that you would think of as athletes but um 18-year- old Marines might not know
that and none of them did he did not share it with them oh is that right he kept it a secret he kept
it a secret however his Commander Todd de grossier figured it out Todd told me when I interviewed him this Summer that
Colin walked differently from the other boys that he seemed to float above the ground and went to Colin and said you
know what's up with this and Colin said I grew up dancing ballet what kind of marine was it Todd
says he was a very good Marine with excellent coordination Etc that all his ballet training really helped him to be
a Marine
